Happy July!!!

It’s hard to believe that it’s already July! Of course, I say this at the beginning of every month, every year. As my dad warned me back when I was in Junior High, the older I get, the faster time marches past (or runs past!)
So far, we’ve been hitting the summer milestones at a pretty good pace. Heather’s already gone to summer camp, and at the end of this week, we celebrate July 4th and the festivities that go along with that. By the end of the month, one of the girls who stays with us during the week will be off to camp as well. Throw in about 5 birthdays, and the first day of school will be here before we know it. All sorts of milestones to make a summer fly by!
Because we’re in our sunny season (for the most part), I thought I’d post some pics of a few things we’ve done in the back yard. The yard has been a slow work in progress, mostly because we rent, and I’m a little picky, and we’re on a fairly small budget. However, I thought I’d share what we’ve done, so far, to make the yard a little more enjoyable.

Our goal is to have a picnic table in the back for us to dine and entertain. So far, I've only been able to buy one for the 3 year old. It was a great deal though!

Colorful flowers are a must on my patio! Geraniums and Marigolds!

I found this shelf at the Goodwill for a great price. At some point, I will paint it, but for now, it looks good!
